OCL - Oilseeds and fats, Crops and Lipids

OCL - Oilseeds and fats, Crops and Lipids is a peer-reviewed full Open-Access scientific journal devoted to fats, lipids and oil- and protein-crops.
OCL publishes high quality articles and has a rigorous peer review policy.
In 2025:

• 211 manuscripts were submitted;
• after pre-evaluation, 28% entered the review process;
• 1088 reviewers were invited to evaluate the submitted articles that entered the review process;
• The average time between submission and first decision was 55 days;
• After the first evaluation, 7% of the articles entering the review process were rejected; 61% of the authors were requested to make major changes before their publication could be reconsidered; the remaining 32% were requested to make minor changes
