OCL - Oilseeds and fats, Crops and Lipids

OCL - Oilseeds and fats, Crops and Lipids is a peer-reviewed full Open-Access scientific journal devoted to fats, lipids and oil- and protein-crops.
OCL publishes high-standard articles and has a strict peer-review policy. In 2021:

  • 1,107 referees were invited to evaluate submitted articles;
  • the average time between submission and first decision was 43 days;
  • after the first evaluation, 55% of the articles were rejected, including 28% at the pre-review stage; major modifications were requested from 30% of the authors before their publication could be reconsidered; minor modifications were requested for the remaining 15%;
  • at the end of the 2nd evaluation, 11% of the revised versions (R1) were rejected.
