OCL - Oilseeds and fats, Crops and Lipids

OCL - Oilseeds and fats, Crops and Lipids is a peer-reviewed full Open-Access scientific journal devoted to fats, lipids and oil- and protein-crops.
OCL publishes high quality articles and has a rigorous peer review policy.
In 2023:

  • 120 manuscripts were submitted;
  • after pre-evaluation, half of them entered the review process;
  • 553 reviewers were invited to evaluate the submitted articles that entered the review process;
  • The average time between submission and first decision was 44 days;
  • After the first evaluation, 38% of the articles entering the review process were rejected; 42% of the authors were requested to make major changes before their publication could be reconsidered; the remaining 20% were requested to make minor changes.
