Recovery after peripheral nerve injury in wild type (WT) and fat-1 mice. Animals were submitted to an injury of the sciatic nerve, and were tested functionally for 7 days. There was no difference in pre-injury withdrawal thresholds between WT-omega-6 and fat-1 groups, but at 4 days post-injury there was a statistical difference between the response of the two groups, and this continued to day 7 (*p<0.05).
