100e congrès de l’AOCS (Orlando, du 3 au 6 mai 2009)
L’essentiel du Programme Nutrition
Abstract
For the 100th congress of the AOCS, the themes in the program of the Health and Nutrition Division have been:
-
Measuring coronary heart disease risk: value of existing and emerging surrogate biomarkers;– Optimizing Vitamine D intake, current recommendations, future trends, and disease risk;
-
N-3Fatty acids, existing and emerging benefits;
-
“Saturated Fats and Health – Facts and Feelings” and “Fatty Acids in Body Weight Regulation and Obesity” (Hot Topics).
We emphasize in this paper the very good presentations worthy of the AOCS, not without express regret as those too backward-looking or too marketing.
Key words: AOCS congress / Health and Nutrition sessions / n-3 fatty acid / obesity
